Clean, modern and warm accommodation in Franz Josef. The owner Selena was very friendly and helpful during check in/out. She was very responsive when we had to call her during the evening for some help. We only stayed a night but wished we stayed longer! Next time we visit Franz Josef, we will definitely stay here! The hotel is located next to the hot tub and across the road from glacier heli flights …. Both activities I was contemplating but didn’t end up doing cos we had a short stay… even more reason to come back and stay at 58 On Cron!

The location is the best, since we were going to the heli hiking right across the road and the hot tub next door. There was also restaurant a couple of doors down. But we were told by Selina the reception that the restaurant we are going to have a special treat to pick up their guests, a stretch hummer limousine. Since it’s our daughter’s birthday, that was an awesome treat. Also returned us with the limo. Blue Ice Restaurant, unbelievable! Food are good too.

A fantastic little spot to stay in Franz Josef. Walking distance into town, great little eateries. Lovely lady at reception gave us a map and highlighted all the different places. Room was so comfortable, with a queen bed and a separate room with single beds for the kids was lovely. Very clean, we only stayed 1 night but would have happily stayed longer if we needed. Highly recommend if you're in town. For the price we paid, it was absolutely fantastic, clean, well laid out, friendly service and very comfortable.

It was a perfect stay for our family. Apt was very cosy, clean and well equipped. Sheryl and husband had well informed of important things to note such as where to shop, fuel, etc. prior to arrival; welcomed us and gave us wonderful recommendation for nearby POI‘s. It’s a long way from Switzerland but it’s in our favorite place to stay and will definitely come back if we ever visit NZ again.

I cannot say enough about how helpful the front office staff was. From offering to hold onto our car keys while we went on the heli-hike (which the weather ultimately didn't allow us to go), to giving us advice on the problematic road conditions for the next leg of our trip, they went out of their way to make sure our stay was convenient. And the location rocked! They're right across the street from the glacier guides. A very short walk to the main street where all the restaurants are. The room was comfortable and clean. Definitely would stay here, again.

Greeted by the owners when arrived, gave us the keys - then on top of that as we were heading to Queenstown the following day- maps, and a list of all the best stops for photos/places of interest. That is amazing. They were a lovely couple and the motel was presented beautifully - can park right at the door to unload, comfortable rooms, cute kitchenette well stocked with crockery and utensils, overall beautifully presented. Excellent location. We will definitely come back

Location was fantastic. Studio room was large, airy and comfortable. Kitchen area could have been slightly better equipped, there was literally two of everything. But, we managed. Loved the peace and tranquility of the place. Great value for money

Well located, within easy walking distance to most things in Franz Josef/ Waiu. The rooms were clean and relatively well laid out. The heating worked very effectively.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The lights, heating and the TV were on when we arrived, which was lovely. Car parking was great, beside the room. We were told about places to eat when we arrived. Communication before we arrived was really helpful.

Great place to stay. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen, dining table and small living room. Outside chairs and tables and a bbq. Also a laundry on site. Management was very friendly and helpful. Close to everything.
